Our environment is intrinsically connected to our flowers, our food, and our health. We never take these life-giving resources for granted, and make an active effort to treat the natural world with love and consideration. Our commitment extends throughout our business operations from where we source our flowers and goods, to offering compostable to-go wares and mapping our deliveries strategically to minimize carbon emissions.

LOCAL FARMS

We are fortunate in our proximity to numerous remarkable flower growers, enabling us to source our vast majority of our florals and plants locally. Even protea flowers, native to South Africa, are grown by a family-owned farm in Aptos. We look forward to expanding our relationships to the growing number of new local farmers.

PARTNERS

Our intention is to keep shipping emissions to a minimum without sacrificing the novelty of our offerings. Our artisan chocolatiers (Feve and Dandelion Chocolates) and Ritual Coffee are all based in San Francisco, California.

NO TOXIC FOAM

Floral foam is used to arrange flowers and is commonly made from a phenol-formaldehyde plastic - one of the oldest types of plastic. It is made from two known carcinogens and is not biodegradable.

Most of our designs are achieved using floral wire. Though this requires a touch more finesse, it is well worth protecting our health, your well-being, and the environment. On the occasion that an arrangement requires foam to achieve the desired look, we default to biodegradable foam only.
